Background
My passion for culinary arts has given me a diverse background, from my career as a food journalist to getting a cookery certificate in England. However, cheese is my true passion. I’ve previously worked as a cheesemonger, along with receiving two certifications from the Academy of Cheese and a Cheese Scholar designation from the Cheese State University program.

Why Cheese?

Cheese is the ultimate intersection of delicious taste, fascinating food science, and history. Many regional cheeses recount a story of culture and local traditions, which makes it go beyond just an ingredient. Telling these tales is one of my favorite parts of working in cheese, so check out the blog section for more deep dives.
Where Mrs. Cheese Teaches
I teach classes within Pittsburgh and the surrounding region. You can often find these workshops in partnership with local restaurants, specialty stores, and grocery markets.
